Performs clerical duties associated with and in support of laboratory testing, assists in workflow within the section, responds to inquiries and communicates results of laboratory testing, initiates appropriate charges, and assists in workload tallying of all sections, and performs certain clerical responsibilities in the blood bank. Sorts physician orders and manually transports to data entry. Procurement and processing of blood and body fluids of Laboratory testing

3. Must possess reading and comprehension skills.

4. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

5. Must be able to prioritize tasks.

6. Must possess and demonstrate good basic knowledge of medical terminology and/or laboratory testing terms.

7. Must possess and demonstrate good keyboarding/computer skills.
