Provides support to the Medical Staff Service Department’s functions relating to credentialing and administrative processes applicable to the organized medical staff.

1. Must have the ability to perform concentrated and complex mental activity with frequent involvement in complex and highly confidential situations.

2. Must have the ability to work successfully under highly stressful conditions and must be capable of adapting to varying workloads on a constant basis.

3. Must have the ability to make sound, independent judgements, and also be able to collaborate with members of the medical staff, medical staff leaders, and other members of the hospital team in an appropriate manner.

4. Must have effective reading and comprehension skills.

5. Must have strong communication skills, written and oral.
