Position Summary
The Registered Dietitian provides individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, and education to patients of all ages. This position also supports the Bariatric Program through patient tracking, coordination activities, policy implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote successful patient outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
 • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
 • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education.
 • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams.
 • Assist with bariatric program coordination, other specialty referrals, hospital in-patient planning, educational group classes, and quality initiatives.
 • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
 • Facilitate open, honest, and effective communication between patients and care teams.
 • Support program policies, procedures, and continuous improvement efforts.
 

Qualifications
Required Education:
 • Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
 
Required Credentials

 • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
 • Current Idaho licensure through the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
 • Current BLS certification.
 
Preferred Experience
 • Related clinical experience in a physician office or healthcare setting.
