This is an operating-plant job: inspect, maintain, switch, and restore equipment so load stays up. This position is based in Memphis, TN.

  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair in-service substation and campus electrical equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, relays, buswork, control systems, and station batteries.
  • Perform medium-voltage switching and operations up to 161 kV: write or follow switching orders, isolate and de-energize equipment, apply grounds, verify zero energy, and restore equipment to service.
