Responsibilities
~1 min read- Support accurate processing of trade activity from trade date through settlement across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.)
- Monitor trade capture, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement workflows
- Perform daily position and cash reconciliations with custodians, prime brokers and administrators and communicate accordingly any discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve breaks in a timely and controlled manner
- Liaise daily with Portfolio Managers and traders to resolve trade-related queries
- Communicate with trading counterparties and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements
~1 min read- Final-year undergraduate or recent graduate (within 12 months of graduation)
- Internship experience in financial services (buy-side or sell-side)
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related analytical discipline
- Strong academic record (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
- Strong numerical and analytical capability
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
