Mobile Hose Service Technician

As the Mobile Hose Service Technician, you will travel to customer work locations to build hydraulic hose assemblies and install them on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• →Operate and maintain mobile hydraulic hose van in established territory
• →Inspect, identify, measure and build hydraulic hoses on work sites
• →Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment
• →Maintain mobile workshop and inventory
• →Develop customer relationships and prospect for new business

Additional Responsibilities:

• →Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• →Additional duties as assigned by manager.

To be successful in this position you should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

 Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with and basic knowledge of hydraulics beneficial.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Experience with hydraulic manufacturing machines beneficial.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Must be 21-years-old or older.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: 
  
  • Background check and MVR with less than 10 points. 
  • DOT Physical
  • Drug Screen 
• Ability to become fork lift certified and adhere to all Yancey safety standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive device
