The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Dance Instructor for our recreational dance program at the CHASCO Family YMCA.

The Dance Instructor will be responsible for teaching dance to children 2 to 14 years old. Applicant must have knowledge of a variety of dance styles; ballet, tap, jazz, POM and hip hop are all classes that will be offered at our facility. Applicants should have a minimum of 12 months experience and be committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children!

Monday 3:50-7:00pm
Wednesday 2:50-7:00pm
Thursday 10:30-11:45am
Friday 3:50-7:00pm
Saturday 9:45am-12:45pm

Coach CHASCO YMCA dance classes
Oversee daily class routines, attendance and schedules
Work with Dance Specialist to coordinate and implement Winter and Spring dance recitals
Provide coaching and leadership to all participants
Establish and implement ongoing communication with families
Administer skills progression testing and monitoring

Have a general knowledge of fitness and wellness

Individual must be able to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, sex-offender check, and criminal history check
