The YMCA is searching for an energetic leader to engage and teach youth ages 4-12 in Cheerleading Dance. Our program serves youth from the community helping them develop confidence, dance skills, and relationships among each other.

Schedule: Part Time Hours

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Program Director the Cheerleading Dance Instructor will develop and facilitate dance lessons for various age groups. The program Is growing, so hours are flexible, classes will be added based on instructor availability.

This is a part time position that will teach 5-10 hours per week based on program needs. Afternoon and weekend morning availability preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to physically and verbally interact with members and staff.
At times, be able to lift amounts up to 25 lbs.
Ability to coordinate movement in line with Cheerleading and other forms of dance within expertise.
