Lifeguard II

Position Type: Non-Exempt (Hourly) 

Please note that between June 15th – September 6th, the YMCA of Greater Boston offers a summer incentive program for Lifeguard and Swim Instructor positions. As a result, the pay rate for this role is set to $22/hr for that period.

Position Summary:  

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, this position is responsible for guarding the pool, ensuring the safety of all patrons, enforcing pool rules, and implementing the branch emergency protocols as needed.   *Must have active Lifeguard Certifications. (ex. YMCA, Red Cross)
