The Sun Prairie YMCA is looking for a professional, detailed oriented Preschool Float Lead or Assistant Teacher that will help create a fun and interactive environment in the classroom. Responsibilities

→Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow Teachers.
→Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.
→Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
→Maintains proper records/department files.
→Prepares morning and afternoon meals and snacks
→Manages emergencies, unusual circumstances and behavior.
→Creates a supportive and uplifting work environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher classification recognized by Wisconsin State Licensing requirements.
Knowledge of general child growth and development, learning, and developmentally appropriate activities for children required.
Requires ability to effectively interact with, lead, and motivate members who have a variety of abilities and needs.
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans (Lead Teacher only)
