Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
2 years of experience working with youth, sports, or outdoor programs is highly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred.
Ability to work based on program and event needs, including evenings and weekends, is required.
Demonstrated self-starter with professional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and positive environment.
Ability to work with all age groups and ability levels.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Able to obtain and maintain valid CPR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications.

Responsibilities

→Oversee and support field rentals and programs, ensuring proper setup, supervision, rental transitions, and compliance with YMCA safety and program standards.
→Assist in the execution of recreational, educational, or enrichment activities, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with YMCA goals.
→Serve as the on-site point of contact for participants, families, and program staff.
→Communicate updates, concerns, and incidents promptly to the Program Director.
→Regularly utilize field rental software to schedule and coordinate multiple rental entities or programs, attendance tracking, and program documentation.
→Monitor all field activities for safety compliance. Respond to and document incidents according to YMCA protocols.
→Support and lead sports clinics and camps as directed by the Youth Sports Program Director.
→Assist with Day Camp programming as directed by the Senior Youth Director during camp Seasons.
→Manage and maintain supplies, equipment, and the Sports Complex storage unit.
→Assist Youth/Sports Director in cultivating and maintaining professional partnerships with community sports groups and organizations.
→Communicate maintenance needs to Facilities Maintenance to ensure clean and safe facilities.
→Meet performance measurement by telling the Y story and raising charitable dollars to fulfill our mission.
→Assist staff leadership team in reaching campaign goals through recruiting campaigners, making personal asks, and supporting center events.
