→Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
→Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
→Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
→YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning and/or Foundations of Group Exercise certification or equivalent, such as ACE, ACSM, or AFAA certifications preferred.
→Knowledge of basic health and fitness principles and components, exercise prescription and strength training machines preferred
→You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.
→CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (preferred).

→Greet and interact with members as they enter and exit the Fitness Center
→Deliver youth equipment orientations, and assist members with spotting or form during their workouts
→Ensure the fitness area remains clean and organized; dumbbells, weight plates, bars, and ensure equipment is working
