We are looking for a talented IT Manager to lead our global IT Support and Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maximizing the team's full potential, ensuring the efficient operation of our Information Technology department, and driving key business objectives.
As a hands-on IT Manager, you will focus on executing, optimizing, and maintaining operational workflows. Your responsibilities will include overseeing core technologies, scaling IT support operations on a global level, and managing the IT work queue to ensure service delivery to our workforce worldwide. Based at our Stockholm headquarters, the role requires regular on-site presence with some remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

- →Queue & Service Management: Own the global IT service desk queue and escalations, ensuring effective service delivery and high user satisfaction.
- →Process Optimization: Design, document, and continuously improve IT processes and automated workflows, utilizing an automate-first mindset to scale with Yubico's growth.
- →IT Operations: Drive reliable service delivery and optimal performance of core IT services, alongside providing dedicated support for our Supply Chain teams.
- →Vendor Management: Manage vendor relations and the augmented workforce, including contractor management and tracking renewals and spend for hardware and software suppliers.
- →IT Asset Management: Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle to optimize spend, support sustainability, and ensure optimal hardware refresh cycles globally.
- →Security & Compliance Alignment: Partner with Security to ensure IT processes, access controls, and device baselines adhere to strict internal security policies and external global compliance standards.
- →AI Administration and Support: Drive adoption and enhance operational efficiency across Yubico by supporting AI enablement initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven IT Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing IT support teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment. 5+ years of professional IT experience, including 2+ years in an IT management role.
- Strong Systems Knowledge: Deep familiarity with modern productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), enterprise SaaS solutions, and device management for both macOS and Windows environments.
- Service & Workflow Tooling: Practical experience utilizing modern IT project management, ticketing, and workflow tools (e.g. Jira Service Management).
- Security Fundamentals: An understanding of modern IT security principles, identity management, and endpoint security.
- Communication: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional global stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL).
- Experience with Asset Management systems (e.g., SnipeIT) and the broader Atlassian Suite.
