We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer who is innovative and has a passion for hardware and firmware design of cutting edge security devices. In this role, you will be part of the team that brings new ideas from prototypes to the mass-producible hardware. You will also be responsible for analyzing hardware design for manufacturability, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Electronic Design from concept to implementation and hand-over to manufacturing at scale
- →Testing prototypes, HW/FW troubleshooting, solving design and manufacturing issues
- →Collaborating with FW/SW/Test/Mfg teams to deliver compatible, reliable products
- →Overseeing the manufacturing process of electrical components/assemblies to ensure they meet the design specifications
Requirements
~1 min read- BS or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience designing embedded hardware systems, using EDA/PCB design software (Altium or Allegro/Cadence ) Schematic Capture, Layout / Routing and DFM/DFA
- Experience with Bus communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, RS232/RS485, PCIe, 10/100/1000 Ethernet , CAN)
- Experience with Microcontrollers, preferably STM, TI, Freescale, NXP, and relevant software stacks
- Use of relevant tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Testing and Debugging, creating test protocols, reports and SOPs
- Designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance
- Wireless technologies (NFC, Bluetooth, BLE, BLE Mesh, ZigBee )
- Hardware (PCB, JTAG, UART, SPI, ROM, microcode, custom ASIC/FPGA) x86 and/or ARM chipset and firmware security (TPM, UEFI, TrustZone, secure boot)
- Experience with mechanical fixtures and automation
- PLM tools experience ( Arena or Agile )
- Collaboration Tools experience (JIRA/Confluence)
