Merchandiser Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser Assistant to join THE ICONIC Own Brand team in Guangzhou. This role is responsible for supporting daily merchandising functions and product follow-up, including fabric development, care label coordination, shipment sample tracking, and scheduling, while providing operational support to the China Office Manager.

•    Support the merchandising team with daily product follow-up and administrative tasks.

•    Manage local and international courier parcels for the office.

•    Coordinate bulk fabric development and confirmation with suppliers and internal teams.

•    Verify and prepare care label details according to approved product specifications.

•    Monitor shipment samples for repeat orders, including status and delivery timelines.

•    Assist in collecting fabric test reports, certificates, and sustainability documentation.

•    Track order status and production progress for key milestones prior to shipment.

•    Maintain accurate product and shipment records in internal digital systems.

•    Communicate with factories to follow up on actions and report potential delays.

•    Tracking and update sustainable material trasaction certificates .

•    Provide coordination and development support to the China Office Manager.

•    Complete other reasonable administrative and merchandising duties as assigned.

•    1–2 years of experience in apparel merchandising, sourcing, or buying support.

•    Fundamental knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.

•    Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.

•    Responsible, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.

•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.

•    Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

•    Fluent in Mandarin with basic English proficiency for professional emails.

•    Practical English-speaking ability is a plus but not mandatory.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Google Sheets experience is preferred.

•    Background in international fashion e-commerce or supplier environments.

•    Experience with sample tracking, care labels, or shipment schedules.

•    Resilient and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

•    Ability to use English effectively in professional meeting settings.
