Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our long-term partnership with ICA Banken, one of Scandinavia's leading digital banking organizations.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Sarajevo, with a planned start date in August 2026.

You will join the ICA Banken Web Development team, working closely with Swedish and Bosnian colleagues to develop, maintain, and continuously improve ICA Banken's customer-facing web platform. In addition to delivering high-quality solutions, you will play an important role in supporting and mentoring junior developers within the Sarajevo team.

You will work on icabanken.se, developing new features and enhancing existing functionality for ICA Banken's digital services. The team is focused on delivering scalable, high-quality web solutions while continuously improving the platform and user experience.

• Developing new features and maintaining existing functionality
• Building scalable and high-performance React applications
• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams
• Participating in technical discussions and proposing innovative solutions
• Supporting and mentoring junior developers
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process

• Minimum 7 years of professional frontend development experience
• Expert knowledge of React, React Server Components, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience using Jira
• Deep understanding of scalable web architecture, including modularization, dependency management, and performance optimization in large codebases
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high delivery pace
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive solutions forward
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to product development
• Fluent English communication skills
