We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to join our team. This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Director, Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange department. The Sr. Manager will oversee Identity and Access control infrastructure while leading a dynamic team advancing Zero Trust technology and flagship cloud security products. In this role, you will manage end-to-end development and quality, collaborating globally with architects, product managers, developers, and engineers to ensure successful production delivery.

Responsibilities

→Promote the product vision internally and externally as the representative of the company, product, and team at all levels
→Collaborate with product management to develop roadmaps, identify gaps, and implement changes for improved outcomes
→Design solutions and implement with cloud reliability, availability, scalability, and security in mind
→Work with teams and experts to ensure project requirements are met and delivered efficiently
→Contribute to budget planning by assessing resource needs, hardware requirements, metrics, and costs for cloud services

Requirements

Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in software development, enterprise services, networking, and security across large organizations or startups
Experience building control plane systems on globally distributed databases and skilled in authentication and authorization mechanisms like SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and SCIM
Skilled in integrating software systems using distributed message queues like RabbitMQ/Kafka and distributed caches like Redis/Memcached
Proficient in distributed systems, data replication protocols like Paxos variants, and enterprise databases like DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Google Spanner

Experience leveraging AI/ML models to automate identity threat detection, optimize access management policies, or enhance cloud security operations
Skilled in using Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications and managing microservices architecture
