Become a valuable member of the Zumiez organization with ability to foster teamwork through positive interactions. Support distribution center (DC) operations in one or more work areas. To achieve and maintain high level of performance and proficiency in DC related tasks such as receiving, value added services, put-to-store, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory control. • Responsible for creating a safe work environment for oneself and everyone at the DC
• To follow all Zumiez Policies, Provincial and Government Laws and Regulations, all SOP's, SWP's and otherwise assigned
• Learns and drives all Zumiez Cultural Values
• Becomes the master of their home department. Learns all General Labor functions in DC. Performs tasks specific to their department and or as assigned
• Perform carton and pallet tasks including but not limited to lifting, stacking, sorting, label application, opening, erecting, sealing, counting, carrying and moving
• Responsible to accomplish daily goals set out by leadership, daily, monthly and annually
• Ability to recognize issues and optimize workflow and update leadership
• Participates in team meetings and ensures clear effective communication
• Accountable for accuracy of information input into inventory control system
• Other duties as assigned

• Education/Experience

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
• Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, twist, and reach
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery
• Ability to work in varied temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
• Hours are given based on volumes, cross training, performance, attendance, quality and behavior.
