• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check

As a DSP, you'll partner with individuals to help them live more independent, community-focused lives. Your day might include:

• →Empowerment & Mentoring: Mentoring someone on life skills, like cooking, cleaning, or managing a budget. Providing respectful, hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• →Companionship & Behavioral Support: Providing companionship and emotional support, perhaps watching a movie, engaging in conversation, or helping with an evening routine. Serving as a compassionate partner and providing positive behavioral support.
• →Community & Integration: Providing transportation to a job, a doctor's appointment, or a community event like a cooking class or a swim meet. Supporting individuals with their goals, from hobbies to helping them thrive in community-based jobs.
• →Health & Wellness: Supporting health and wellness by administering medications, assisting with mobility, and preparing nutritious meals.
