→Observe, maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF1649)
→Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and industry certifications, including IATF 16949 and other applicable standards.
→Manage annual audit plan for internal, customer, and third-party certification audits.
→Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for automotive seat covers and interior component manufacturing operations.
→Ensure that safety-critical customer requirements are understood and consistently met across all plants. Promote the implementation of new safety-critical initiatives and systematically monitor their effectiveness.
→Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other quality tools.
→Lead customer quality interface activities, including audits, corrective actions, quality reviews, customer visits and issue resolution.
→Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
→Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to eliminate recurring quality issues.
→Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
→Oversee supplier quality management programs, including supplier audits, qualification, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
→Develop and mentor quality teams to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
→Prepare and present quality performance reports to executive leadership and customers.
→Support new product launches by ensuring compliance with Advanced quality planning (APQP) and validation requirements.
→Product safety and compliance representative and leader. Create and promote environments with high sense of responsibility for product safety.
→Represent group of plants in front of the company product safety office.
