Packaging Engineer - Grandville Area

• →Design and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• →Conduct testing and validation of packaging materials and designs.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets product, manufacturing, and customer requirements.

• →Create and maintain packaging specifications and documentation.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues in manufacturing.
• →Stay current with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology.

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for package design and analysis.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various packaging materials (e.g., plastics, paperboard, glass, metals) and their properties.
• Experience with packaging machinery and automation, including line integration and optimization.
• Strong understanding of packaging regulations, testing standards, and quality control processes.

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and practices
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Project management experience
