ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Groundwork Operations, LLC provides general and specialized Crew to handle a wide range of tasks, including set-up and break-down of indoor and outdoor experiential events, brand activations, and more, throughout NY, NJ, PA, and MA. Our team works projects of all sizes, from small actions that a single Crew Member can handle autonomously, to large scale events such as the NY Marathon where we have dozens of shifts available on a daily basis for several weeks. We also provide project management and general and specialized labor support for travel-based warehouse and facility projects throughout North America. Our crew travels to different client locations to support small-to-medium scale projects such as warehouse build-outs, workspace reconfigurations, station assembly, wire and cable management, and material handling. All work is performed on-site at client facilities—there is no fixed or permanent work location.

The majority of Groundwork Operations and Heavy Weight Freight job postings are for gig-based positions, NOT full-time or part-time roles with a consistent schedule.

The exceptions to this are listed below:

• →Our CDL Class A OTR (Over The Road) Truck Driver jobs are contract-based (1099) with specific, consistent schedules.
• →Our IT Workstation Installation Tech jobs are travel-based positions, placing you in-field, out of state, for several weeks at a time with a fixed schedule for that duration. These are W2 positions and travel and lodging are covered by us.
