Advanced Foot & Ankle Center offers a wide range of services, from routine foot care to surgery and hospital care, diabetic foot care, and emergency, same day appointments. We have 6 convenient locations in Bountiful, Heber City, Park City, West Jordan, and Salt Lake City.

Responsibilities

→Greet patients on the phone and in person
→Place patients in the exam rooms
→Take vital signs of patients
→Assist and setup up for examination, treatment, and procedures
→Keep accurate patient files
→Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
→Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
→Maintain HIPAA

Requirements

→Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
→Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
→Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
→Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
→Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
→Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties
→Customer services skills
→Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training
EMR Experience, Athena or ModMed experience is a plus
