Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and related machinery)
- →Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime
- →Perform welding, fabrication, and component replacement as needed
- →Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or unsafe conditions
- →Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report on equipment condition and repairs completed
- →Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
- →Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, operators, and supervisors
- →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven experience as a mechanic in a mining, quarry, or industrial plant environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver's license required
- MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Mechanics who can diagnose and repair issues safely, efficiently, and consistently
- Individuals who take ownership of equipment reliability and uptime
- Team players who communicate clearly and work well in a fast-paced environment
