As a Client Service Representative, you are often the first person a pet owner speaks with and the person who helps them feel informed, heard, and supported. You will work closely with a skilled clinical team to make every visit feel organized, compassionate, and personal. This is a dedicated client-service position, not a blended clinical assistant role.

How you will make a difference 

• Welcome clients and patients with genuine warmth, empathy, and professionalism—whether in person, by phone, or through digital messages. 

• Manage appointment scheduling, check-in and check-out, payments, and accurate client and patient records. 

• Help clients navigate questions, appointment preparation, follow-up instructions, and next steps, referring medical questions to the clinical team. 

• Coordinate timely messages and handoffs between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and other team members. 

• Approach sensitive conversations, unexpected changes, and busy moments with calm judgment and discretion. 

• Support a clean, organized, inviting reception area and contribute ideas that improve the client experience. 

What you bring 

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or a veterinary setting; veterinary experience is welcome but not required. 

• Strong listening, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including empathy in emotionally difficult moments. 

• Comfort with scheduling software, computers, and learning new systems. 

• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing your personal touch. 

• A collaborative mindset, accountability, and a genuine interest in pets and the people who care for them.
