Responsibilities

→Keep the machines and equipment in efficient operating conditions

→Inspect machines and perform preventive maintenance

→Dismantle, move and repair industrial machinery and equipment

→Conduct modification, fabrication, and installation of industrial machinery and equipment

→Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial machinery and equipment

→Follow site safety rules and processes i.e., in the associate handbook, cardinal rule cards, job specific standard work and relevant EHS training documents

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED AND successfully complete (70% or higher) the applicable Industrial Assessment Test OR
Hold a current Journeyman's Card OR
Successfully completed a Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program for machine repair

2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance

Willing and able to complete the Carrier safety programs successfully

Work from defined drawings and specifications

Understand and use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments

Demonstrated ability to perform operations involving use of industrial machine tools

Use shop mathematics and handbook formulas

Capable of performing physically demanding tasks throughout the entire shift

Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

The hourly rate for this position is between $24.00 - $48.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
