Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Review application data, loss runs, and third-party reports (CLUE, MVR, LexisNexis) to assess underwriting eligibility.
- → Calculate premiums using ISO manuals, class codes, and carrier-specific rating models.
- → Analyze past claims to identify loss trends and determine loss ratios relative to industry standards.
- → Draft policy terms and prepare coverage documents, including endorsements and declarations.
- → Evaluate referred cases and provide well-documented underwriting decisions with clear risk recommendations.
