Paint Materials Assistant $22-25

JOB TITLE: Production Painter

Production Painters apply primer, sealer, color, mid-coats, and clearcoats to motorcycle and small cosmetic parts, ensuring accurate color and high-quality finishes. Responsibilities include equipment and workspace maintenance, following painting best practices, and collaborating with management to meet quality and production goals.

1st shift: 6:30 am -3:00 pm, M-F

Job location: Franksville, WI

Job type: temp-to-hire

Pay: $25 with experience; $22 for trainee

Duties:

• Technical knowledge and execution of painting and ancillary paint operations.

• Adhere to policies with respect to safety, PPE, organization, 5S, quality, and delivery.

• Contribute to daily production through process execution. (Paint lots of parts)

• Install and remove paint mask stencils, including fine line masking.

• Install waterslide and vinyl decals.

• Report substandard quality; act as a quality gate within production.

• Report on paint materials inventory levels.

• Clean parts for painting processes.

• Loading and unloading parts.

• Contribute to tracking and quality documentation.

2+ years of professional painting experience.

Experience with primer, sealer, color, and clearcoat application.

Knowledge of prepping, bodywork, washing, and buffing preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.
