Sr Software Engineer (Onsite)

• Relevant work experience in software development using object oriented programming languages such as Java or C++.
• Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval. Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Direct hands on individual experience with GraphQL, REST, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgresql, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Typescript, HTML/CSS, among many other programming languages and related technologies.
• Relevant work experience in software development using object oriented paradigms and multithreaded systems.
• Experience with Container Orchestration implementation such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Solipsys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins Aerospace/RTX and is currently seeking a Sr Software Engineer who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and proactive in writing and developing code using programming languages and related technologies such as Java, C++, Angular, GraphQL, REST, KafKa, and Typescript (among many others).  The successful candidate will work in an exciting environment, directly contributing to the development of new software capabilities and products.
