Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Packaging Engineer/ Principal Packaging Engineer. This position is located in Ogden, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Responsibilities

CAD design of special packaging for program deliverables to ensure proper transportability. This position will be a part of program design reviews.

→Work and collaborate with programs to review and buy off on Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRL's) and final program Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL's) and collection for delivery on schedule to the customer.
→Help train and interpret Military Standards in accordance with contracts and compliance in packaging designs to the Military standards.
→Work with multiple engineering teams to collaborate on packaging and storage requirements and design at multiple locations.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering Degree
ESD experience
Tooling experience
3D CAD experience
2 years CPLM experience with full design review experience
4 years CAD design experience in packaging
2 years Military Standard Experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
