Compound & Mixing-Production Operator

The Mixing Operator safely operates mixing equipment to support daily production. Duties include inspecting machines, monitoring performance, and resolving minor issues. The role involves handling chemicals and heat, requiring strict safety practices and protective gear. The operator maintains a clean work area, follows quality standards, and communicates with team leaders and supervisors.

• →Perform operational pre-checks: Inspect equipment and systems before starting production to ensure everything is set up correctly and ready for use.
• →Conduct safety pre-checks: Verify that all safety measures are in place, including emergency stops, guards, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• →Troubleshoot machine and process issues during the shift
• →Monitor machine processes and respond to any issues
• →Check machine setups and conditions daily
• →Verify that scales and measuring devices are functioning properly
• →Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards
• →Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
• →Ensure all checkpoints and sensors are working correctly
• →Confirm machines are operating as intended
• →Accurately record information on daily check sheets
• →Troubleshoot and communicate issues with the team leader or supervisor
• →Report all concerns to the team leader or supervisor
• →Operate and understand all mixing equipment
• →Participate in 5S activities (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• →Stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed
