The Inspector III - Transportation Construction performs skilled professional inspections for construction projects impacting the public works utilities and related infrastructure. Monitors compliance, enforces regulations, and provides leadership for other inspectors.

• Subject to fieldwork conditions.  

Salary Range

 

The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Four (4) years of experience inspecting the design/construction/maintenance of streets, storm drainage systems, water/sewer mains, water/wastewater facilities and/or bridge improvements projects.   

• Associate degree (or higher) in a construction Management or Engineering field plus two (2) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
