• Undertake an employer-supported pathway to upgrade from Light Vehicle Mechanic to HME.
• Gain structured on-the-job training and development, supported by experienced HME tradespeople.
• Develop practical experience working on excavators, haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders and other mining equipment.
• Build technical capability across diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, final drives, brakes, diagnostics, electrical systems and planned maintenance.

• An Australian-recognised Light Vehicle Mechanical trade qualification.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.

• A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and building a long-term career in mining.
• Previous mining experience is advantageous but not essential. You don't need to know everything about heavy mining equipment – that's what the pathway is for!
