You’ll provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modeling, regulation, and the efficiency of models or reporting processes. As a Risk Modelling Services, Actuarial, Life Senior Associate, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:

Supporting a broad range of consulting services and audit support assignments. Consulting services involve working closely with senior actuaries on Appointed Actuary and actuarial liability valuation work, capital and risk review and analysis, advisory services on IFRS 17, M&A related consulting, product development, and a variety of other consulting work
Provide support for IFRS 17 financial statement audits as an actuarial specialist, including assessment of valuation methodology and assumptions, experience studies, regulatory capital reporting, reserve reconciliation and data validation. You will work closely with experienced actuaries and colleagues across PwC to ensure that the actuarial liabilities are fairly presented in the financial statements
Working on ad-hoc engagements such as insurance systems modernization, model governance, AXIS modelling, and the development of AI solutions
Collaborating, planning and executing cross-functional projects with people outside of your core discipline including Advisory, Deals, Assurance, Tax and Data & Analytics
Working towards leading your own engagements and teams
Coaching and providing technical training to junior staff
