Emergency Department Technician

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience: Previous experience in an emergency department, urgent care, pre-hospital EMS, or acute care setting preferred.
Under the direction of the Emergency Department director manager, charge nurse, and staff nurses this position requires the ability to be self-directed and encompasses providing direct supportive care to patients by performing designated and/or ordered interventions and procedures within the scope of practice. Additionally, this position incorporates departmental readiness duties including but not limited to stocking, QI testing, verification of operational patient care apparatuses (Suction, O2, etc.).
