JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-71782 Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Federal Way, WA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Clinic: 8:00am-4:45pm 3 clinic shifts and 1 call shift per week Call: 7:00am-7:00am Call Type: In-House Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Average Daily Volume: 18-24 Admissions: 1-2 deliveries per 24 hours Case Mix: OB/GYN, High-risk obstetrics, Gynecology, Surgery consults FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: L+D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, Lab tech, X-ray tech PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60 days (minimum) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Manage L+D patients Assist CNMs/FPOBs GYN coverage ER Level 1 Nursery Comfortable at CAH JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible Licenses: Active WA license or Universal License (IMLC) with LOQ in hand DEA: Active DEA certification (required during credentialing) Certifications: BLS Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background history; Local provider preferred (no flights) Duties & Responsibilities Provide 60-70% OB and 30-40% Gyn care, managing high-risk and low-risk obstetrics Manage labor and delivery patients, assist CNMs/FPOBs, and provide GYN coverage in ER Perform office procedures including LEEPs, colposcopy, IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements Provide outpatient Gyn care: annual exams, abnormal uterine bleeding, birth control, surgery consults Read ultrasound on call days; perform circumcisions in office if desired
