A Day in the Life

As a Medical Assistant, you'll be an important part of keeping the clinic running smoothly and making sure patients have a positive experience from the moment they're brought back for their visit.

You'll room patients, obtain vitals, prepare patients for exams, assist providers, support minor procedures, update documentation, and help coordinate follow-up care. Depending on the clinic and provider you're supporting, you'll also have the opportunity to gain experience across Primary Care, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and other specialties.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying busy, working closely with providers, and being part of a clinical team where everyone contributes.

What You’ll Do

  • Room patients and prepare them for appointments
  • Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during exams
  • Prepare exam rooms and clinical supplies
  • Assist with minor in-office procedures as appropriate
  • Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Update patient information and clinical documentation
  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Communicate with patients and members of the clinical team
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, patient-ready clinical environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Medical Assistant experience or training
  • Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Strong communication and patient service skills
  • Team-oriented and willing to jump in where needed
  • Organized with good attention to detail
  • Interested in continuing to learn and develop clinical skills

This Role Is Likely a Fit If You…

  • Want a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
  • Prefer outpatient care over hospital-based work
  • Enjoy working directly with patients and providers
  • Like variety and want exposure to multiple specialties
  • Want to keep developing your Medical Assistant skills
  • Value being part of a collaborative clinical team

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You…

  • Prefer night or weekend shifts
  • Are looking for a remote or administrative-only position
  • Don't enjoy direct patient interaction
  • Prefer a role with very little movement or day-to-day clinical activity

Why Join Us

You'll join an established outpatient practice where Medical Assistants play an important role in both patient care and the day-to-day success of the clinic. You'll work with experienced providers, gain exposure to multiple specialties, and have opportunities to strengthen your clinical skills.

With $18–$28/hour compensation, full benefits, no nights or weekends, and some shorter Fridays, this is a strong opportunity for an MA looking for a better outpatient schedule and a place to grow.
