Material Handlers are responsible for replenishing supplies, linen and materials, utilizing inventory management system tools to ensure products are in place in a timely manner and facilitating the distribution of product orders needed for patient care. This role is integral to ensuring the procurement of various medical supplies and equipment required for daily patient care. This directly contributes to delivering exceptional patient care, a core tenet of the Clinic’s commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered services. Overall, Material Handlers exhibit the organization's mission and values and strive to achieve and sustain the Cleveland Clinic experience.

Requirements

Full range of body motion for handling and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
Pushing a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds and pulling a 2500-pound pallet using a manual pallet jack
Standing and walking for extensive periods of time
Lifting and carrying objects

Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
