Lead Software Engineer - Tech 360

This role is four days onsite at our Seneca One Buffalo, NY location, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week

• →Associate’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ systems analysis and/or application development work experience or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' systems analysis and/or application development work experience. In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 year’s education and/or relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ system analysis and/or application development work experience.
• →Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• →Angular and/or modern front-end development experience.
• →Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native development experience.
• →CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.

• →Expert proficiency in a minimum of 1 relevant programming language and professional proficiency in a minimum of 1 additional relevant programming language.
• →Strong understanding of software development best practices, application architecture, and SDLC methodologies.

• Proven ability to build executive-facing reporting, analytics, or dashboard solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong experience integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in data visualization and reporting technologies, including Power BI, Tableau, Chart.js, D3.js, or equivalent tools.
• Experience designing scalable application architectures with a focus on performance, security, maintainability, and reliability.
• Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts, including dimensional models, KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with executives, product owners, business stakeholders, and data teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Experience building centralized reporting platforms, operational intelligence systems, or executive decision-support applications is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers, driving technical strategy, and establishing engineering standards for large-scale software initiatives.
