We are currently seeking a Landfill Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Meadowbranch Landfill. If you enjoy operating heavy machinery, working outdoors, and being part of a safety-first team, we want to hear from you.

As a Landfill Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in the daily operation of our landfill by operating and maintaining equipment that supports safe, efficient waste disposal and site management.

  Operate heavy equipment including:

  • →

    Bulldozers

  • →

    Compactors

  • →

    Wheel Loaders

  • →

    Motor Graders

  • →

    Scrapers

• →

  Spread, compact, and cover waste in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.

• →

  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

• →

  Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.

• →

  Maintain safe working conditions by following all company policies and safety procedures.

• →

  Communicate effectively with team members, truck drivers, and customers.

• →

  Assist with additional landfill operations as needed.

• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience.

• Experience operating dozers, compactors, loaders, graders, or similar equipment preferred.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.

• Previous landfill, construction, mining, quarry, excavation, or earthmoving experience is a plus.
