12-month University Student Internship – Global Proposals – Leeds - Start Date July 2027
At Fortrea, we believe early talent is the heartbeat of innovation. Our Early Careers program is more than an internship - it’s a launchpad for your future.
As a Global Proposals Intern, you’ll join a global team where curiosity, motivation, and fresh ideas are celebrated. You’ll work on meaningful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and see firsthand how clinical research and healthcare innovation change lives.
We don’t expect you to know it all. What matters most is your potential, your drive to learn, and your willingness to grow. With hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured development, we’ll help you build the skills and confidence to succeed.
Your journey to pioneering tomorrow’s breakthroughs starts here.
As a Fortrea intern, and from your first day, you will compliment your education in STEM + Business and Healthcare working on actual department assignments, always linked to our mission to deliver solutions that bring life-changing medicines to patients faster and with true impact on the company.
The Global Proposals Team supports the Fortrea Global Commercial Organization by completing the written proposal and/or budget in support of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) content from new and returning clients.
Our remit spans the earliest clinical trials in healthy volunteers through to late-stage clinical trials in patients across all phases worldwide, along with more unique outsourcing models such as Functional Service Provider (FSP).
We work alongside teams from commercial, operational, delivery, strategy and scientific departments who are supportive of your CRO journey.
This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the world of clinical research and general business acumen.
