Substitute Teaching Artists

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the magic of performing arts? Do you specialize in acting, improv, voice, or all three? If so, we invite you to join our team as a substitute teacher at our Performing Arts Center, which serves children from preschool age onward. This role also offers the potential for a part-time position starting in mid-January 2027. 

Position Overview:

As a Substitute Teacher at our Performing Arts Center, you will step into various teaching roles across our specialized classes. Our performing arts students range in age from 4 to 18. You will work closely with our experienced instructors to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire creativity and ignite a love for the performing arts.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with school-aged children or teenagers.
• Demonstrated ability to execute engaging lesson plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children and families.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students' needs.
• Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for fostering a love of theatre.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
• Fall & Spring hours are 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (August - May)
