JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3514544 Profession: Physician Specialty: Medical Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Potsdam, NY Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Dec 28, 2026 – Mar 29, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 18–20 patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Reason for Coverage: Holiday and vacation coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES chemotherapy immunotherapy targeted therapy hormone therapy JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active New York license Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology Certifications: BLS (AHA or RQI) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Medical Oncology Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; Flexibility and adaptability; No residents or fellows DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy to patients. Manage a patient panel of 18–20 patients per day in an outpatient infusion center. Perform inpatient consultations as needed, though primarily an outpatient role. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including one NP and three CMAs. Utilize Epic for charting and ensure accurate documentation.
