Traveling- Project Controls Specialist- MEP Division

NexGen is looking for a Project Cost Controls Specialist to join their team! This is a project-based travel position!

NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray, is based in Franklin, TN, and specializes in executing turnkey project scopes, including concrete, steel, millwright, and finishes. NexGen is fully integrated with Gray Construction and serves as a preferred subcontractor. The NexGen team is made of career, trade-specific professionals and core craftsmen with decades of experience who are dedicated to meeting our customers’ unique needs.

•  Develop, implement, and maintain cost controls on a project.
• Monitor, evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts.
• Generate project progress charts and cost reports.
• Support forecast of time and cost problems by offering trending information.
• Develop and execute measurement systems to process, analyze and identify improvements.
• Develop and update resource loaded construction schedules.
• Verify scope changes and estimate costs by using contract terms
