Hygiene Dental Assistant

Edmond, Oklahoma | Full-Time | $18/hour

A well-established private practice in Edmond is hiring a permanent Hygiene Dental Assistant for its growing hygiene department. This is a current opening and the practice is ready to hire now. Experienced assistants, students and recent graduates are all encouraged to apply.

• →Prepare operatories and seat patients for hygiene visits
• →Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
• →Assist with periodontal charting and documentation
• →Handle sterilization and instrument management
• →Reinforce patient education and home care
• →Turn over rooms efficiently and support multiple hygienists
• →Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and infection-control standards

• 1–2+ years of assisting experience (preferred, not required)
• X-ray certification, current or in progress
• Strong communication and organization
• A positive, team-first attitude and attention to detail
• A passion for preventive care
