You will collaborate with partners across Fraud Management, Product, Analytics, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance while contributing to initiatives that support fraud prevention, detection, response, and ecosystem resilience.

In addition to supporting ongoing team initiatives, you will have the opportunity to lead a defined project focused on fraud knowledge management, fraud intelligence, or another strategic priority, allowing you to take ownership of a meaningful deliverable from planning through completion.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct research on fraud trends, scam typologies, emerging risks, and developments impacting the Canadian payments ecosystem.
  • Support the development of fraud intelligence reports, executive briefings, presentations, and strategic materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with the organization, maintenance, and enhancement of fraud-related knowledge repositories, documentation, and SharePoint resources.
  • Assess how fraud-related information is organized and accessed across the organization and identify opportunities to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Engage with various stakeholders across Interac including, Product, Fraud Analytics and Countermeasures, Fraud Operations, Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to gather information, requirements, and feedback.
  • Compile, analyze, and present findings, trends, and key insights to support fraud strategy initiatives and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and documentation of fraud governance activities, including meeting materials, action tracking, and communication support.
  • Lead a defined term project and present recommendations, key findings, and outcomes to the Fraud Strategy team at the end of the internship.
