JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: 104790 Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Boise, ID Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 04, 2027 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5p Call Schedule: Night Call: Mon-Fri, 5p-8a 24-hrs: Sat-Sun, 8a-8a Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, Malpractice insurance covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Trauma Embolization (Body) Pulmonary Thrombectomy Gastric tube placement Biliary/Chole tube placement Nephrostomy and Ureteral stenting Dialysis Graft/Fistula stenting Body Arteriography IVC Filter placement and Removal Cryo Ablation, Thermal Ablation (ideal) TIPS Venous and Arterial Stenting Venous and Arterial extremity thrombectomy and limb salvage Prostate and Uterine artery embolization Gonadal vein Embolization Uterine Fibroid Embolization Y90, Chemo Embolization Pseudoaneurysm treatment Vertebral Body Biopsy JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: ID or IMLC Other Qualifications: Min. of 1 week per month (Mon-Sun, 7 consecutive) Clean background strongly (preferred) Proof of COVID vaccine Duties & Responsibilities Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including trauma embolization, pulmonary thrombectomy, and vascular stenting. Provide night call coverage Monday–Friday from 5p to 8a and 24-hour weekend call (Sat/Sun). Collaborate with the APP team of five Advanced Practice Providers to manage patient care and call burden. Participate in diagnostic imaging interpretation and image-guided interventions as needed. Maintain compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and vaccination requirements.
