As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine observations, incident reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. • →Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• →Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• →Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
• →Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
