Fire Suppression Technician

•  Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain specialized fire suppression systems, most notably commercial kitchen hood systems (such as Ansul systems)
• Work on foam extinguishing systems, water spray, carbon dioxide (CO₂), dry chemical, halon, and other liquid or gas fire suppression systems
• Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA 10 standards and emergency lighting systems per NFPA 101
• Diagnose system defects, perform structural repairs, and replace malfunctioning components in commercial facilities or restaurant environments
• Complete highly accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and job logs on time

• Must possess a valid Connecticut F-4 Fire Protection Limited Journeyperson License
• 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing kitchen hood suppression and portable fire systems
