Dwelly is building the AI operating system for residential lettings. Its growing network of agencies provides its AI with real-world data, continuous feedback, and control over complete workflows, making exceptional service the standard for landlords and tenants. Today, Dwelly operates more than 15,000 properties and $470 million in GMV, making it one of the UK’s ten largest lettings operators. The company has raised $263 million.

We’re a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology, and operations.

At Dwelly, AI agents handle the routine work of lettings: enquiry intake, follow-ups, compliance reminders and administration. That leaves our people free to do what technology can’t: walk into a landlord’s home, earn their trust, and win their business.

The Valuer is a full-time role reporting to the Managing Director, working alongside them to grow the branch. As the first person most new landlords will meet, you set the standard for everything that follows. You’ll win new instructions, build our name in the communities we serve, and make sure every landlord we take on is one we want to keep. We care about how we grow, not just how fast: we would rather lose an instruction than win a problem.

The role will also evolve. As our AI agents take on more of the admin around enquiries and bookings, more of your time goes where it matters: in front of landlords, and out in the community.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Make sure every new landlord enquiry gets a rapid, personal response, as speed wins instructions
  • Turn enquiries into booked valuations, and valuations into signed landlords
  • Follow up every valuation that doesn’t sign, until you have a clear yes or no
  • Know where every lead stands, and why any were lost
  • Carry out rental valuations that are accurate, well-evidenced and grounded in market data
  • Present to a high standard: well prepared, punctual, smartly presented, and clear on what we do and why it’s worth paying for
  • Explain our service and the landlord’s obligations with confidence, so landlords know exactly what they’re getting
  • Represent the quality of our brand in every interaction, in person and in writing
  • Build a visible, trusted name in the areas we serve, through local relationships and repeatable playbooks rather than one-off campaigns
  • Develop long-term relationships with landlords, investors, developers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and sales agents who can refer business
  • Stay in touch with landlords who aren’t ready to switch yet, so we’re the first call when they are
  • Know your patch: rents, stock, competitors and what local landlords care about
  • Work with the Managing Director on unit growth targets and the plan to hit them
  • Hold our fees, winning on service and value rather than price
  • Keep discounts to the exception, used only where there is a valid reason
  • Prioritise landlords and properties that are good long-term business for the branch
  • Use our agentic CRM to manage your pipeline: AI agents handle first responses, reminders and admin, while you own the relationship and the close
  • Step in personally wherever a lead needs a human touch
  • Share feedback on where the system loses leads, slows responses or gets it wrong

Requirements

~1 min read
  • A track record of winning new business face to face: valuations, sales, business development or similar
  • High personal standards: punctual, prepared and professional in how you present yourself and the company
  • Confidence to hold a price and sell value rather than discount
  • Urgency: you treat every enquiry as revenue and follow up without being chased
  • A natural relationship-builder who invests in people over the long term
  • Comfortable working alongside AI and automation, and quick to learn new systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car

Nice to have:

  • Lettings or estate agency valuation experience
  • Local knowledge and an existing network in the area
  • Experience in a tech-enabled or high-growth business
  • Experience managing a pipeline in a CRM

New to lettings? We’ll teach you UK lettings legislation and landlord compliance, how to value rental property using local market data, Dwelly’s service and fee structure, and how to get the most out of our agentic CRM.

What We Offer

~1 min read

Competitive salary based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our growth.

Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.

What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of worlds’ most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.

This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all”.

  • Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
  • Passion for invention
  • Operational excellence
  • Long-term thinking
